Presented by Philadelphia SRA, Bleeding Control Basics will go over first aid as it applies to severe bleeding. We will cover scene safety, injury assessment, basic bleeding control, and tourniquet application. This class doesn’t provide any kind of certification, and is just meant to provide essential information to as many people as possible. Registration:
Thursday, June 9 is Breadboard Night at Iffy Books! We’ll have plenty of breadboards, electronic components, and example circuits for y’all to play with. Stop by 5–8 PM. This event is free! If you build a circuit you want to keep, you can pay for the parts and take it home.
On Friday, June 10 at 7PM we're screening Resist Climate Inaction, a 12-minute film from Blockade Australia that everyone should see. This event is free! We'll have a discussion after the screening for anyone who wants to hang out and chat.
