Anthotypes Workshop
Sunday, October 1, 2023, 1–3pm
with Jazmyn Crosby, Kelsey Skaroff, and Elizabeth Shores
In this hands-on workshop, participants create photographs with plants using a non-toxic technique called anthotyping. Participants will first walk outside together to learn how to identify local plants and infrastructural elements as symptoms of politico-economic processes while responsibly foraging for anthotype materials. Next, participants will return to Iffy Books to create anthotypes together using materials gathered during the walk. This public workshop is free for all ages. No prior experience is necessary.
